UPDATE ON THE CUBA JEWISH MUSIC LIBRARY (CJML) PROJECT:

December 2009

Thank you to everyone who has contributed music, listening devices, computers and more to the CJML project! Collections have been inaugurated in 8 locations throughout Cuba-- three in Havana, and five in Camaguey, Ciengfuegos, Guantanamo, Santa Clara and Santiago.

Our stock-rooms are currently full so we are no longer accepting new product at this time. We are, however, looking for people going to Cuba in the next 6 months to help with deliveries.

If you, or anyone you know, are going to Cuba in the next 6 months please email us!

And If you would like to make a much-needed financial contribution ($18, $36, $50, $100, $1 million--any amount helps!) ) to support this important project to help keep Cuban Jewish music and culture alive, please click HERE to make a secure donation (via paypal or credit card) through our fiscal sponsor, Deep Listening Institute. All donations will go towards supplying transport, shelving, equipment, and operations systems for the libraries.

And if you would like to write a check instead, please make it out to "Deep Listening Institute" with 'Cuba Jewish Music Project' in the memo line and send to the address above.

All donations are tax-deductible.

Thank you for your support!
